Vancouver Social Club knows how to throw a party, and Volume 4, a day party at West Oak that kept going well into the evening, was no exception. This time, sponsor Swae Labs wanted their brand in guests’ hands, not just on a banner. So we built a sponsored photo booth activation that put “Powered by Swae” on every single print and every photo shared, from the afternoon right through to the late crowd.
The brief: a sponsor brand guests actually take home
Vancouver Social Club parties start in the daylight and go late: dressed-up crowds, great music and a room full of people who love to post. Swae Labs, the skincare brand behind the Cleanse & Conquer facial mist, came on as sponsor alongside After Dark Hospitality. The goal was simple: give guests something they would want to keep and share, with the sponsor’s name built right into it.
Meet Swae Labs
Swae is a modern, science-backed skincare brand built around hypochlorous acid, a gentle ingredient your body already makes on its own. Their signature Cleanse & Conquer Multi-Action Facial Mist is clean, light and fragrance-free, designed to calm and refresh skin on the go. It comes in a full-size bottle, a travel mini that slips into any bag, and a refill size.
For a brand made for “life in motion”, a day party that runs late was the perfect fit. Guests could spritz, refresh and step right back into the booth for another round of photos.
The setup on the West Oak patio
We set up our photo booth on the patio at West Oak in Vancouver, against a warm champagne-and-bronze sparkle backdrop made to flatter everyone’s outfits, whether in the afternoon sun or after dark. Guests were welcomed by a custom Vancouver Social Club start screen on the booth. Every photo printed on a custom 4×6 template designed for the club: “Vancouver Social Club, est. 2025” across the top in gold, with “Powered by Swae” and After Dark Hospitality along the bottom.
Guests got an instant print plus a digital copy by text, ready to post before they’d even left the booth.
The numbers: a sponsored photo booth activation that travels
A photo booth is one of the few event features guests line up for and then share on their own. Here is what one day party at West Oak produced for Vancouver Social Club and Swae Labs:
- 362 photo sessions, including 48 GIFs
- 375 printed keepsakes carrying the Swae and After Dark Hospitality logos home
- 420 shares, mostly by text message
- 212 guest contacts captured through the sharing station
- 25,000+ people reached and 84,700+ brand impressions from shared photos
That is the real value of a sponsored photo booth activation: the logo keeps showing up in group chats and feeds long after the event ends.
A party full of partners
Volume 4 brought together a great group of local brands. The team from Elite Talent YVR brought amazing energy to the room, and Vintique Consignment sponsored a Chanel giveaway that had the whole room talking. We also got to try Swae Labs’ Cleanse & Conquer mist ourselves. Highly recommended after a long day of partying.
Why a sponsored photo booth activation works for brands and day parties
For event hosts, a photo booth gives guests a reason to gather and a keepsake to remember the day. For sponsors, it is one of the most natural ways to get a logo in front of people. Nobody throws away a great photo of themselves. Branded print templates, a sponsor message on every digital share and guest contact capture turn a fun feature into measurable reach.

FAQ
Can a sponsor’s logo go on the photo booth prints?
Yes. We design a custom print and digital template for every event, and sponsor logos can sit alongside the host’s branding, just like “Powered by Swae” did here.
Can sponsors see how many people their brand reached?
Yes. After the event we can share totals for sessions, prints, shares, reach and impressions, so sponsors can see exactly what the activation delivered.
Can you capture guest contacts for a sponsor?
Yes. When guests send their photos by text or email, the booth can capture opted-in contact details. At this event, 212 guests shared their info.
Do you work at Vancouver bars, restaurants and party venues?
Absolutely. We regularly set up at restaurants, bars and event venues across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and our booths fit comfortably in busy rooms.
