May 13, 2026 · The Stack, 1133 Melville Street, Vancouver · Hosted by the Canadian Securities Exchange · Photo booth sponsored by Davidson & Company LLP
When the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) brought the tech and capital markets community together for CSE Capital Tech Connect 2026 in Vancouver, they wanted a photo experience that felt as forward-thinking as the room. Instant Moments delivered a fully branded AI photo booth for a corporate tech event: guests stepped up for a quick photo and, seconds later, walked away with a futuristic AI portrait printed with both the CSE and Davidson logos.

The brief: an AI photo booth that fits a capital markets tech event
The CSE team was clear from the start. It was a tech event, so the experience needed to feel AI and tech driven rather than a standard photo booth. The booth was also being sponsored by Davidson & Company LLP, the Vancouver audit, tax and advisory firm, so every photo needed to carry both brands while still reading as the CSE’s own event.
The venue: a rooftop 37 storeys above downtown Vancouver
The event took place at The Stack, 1133 Melville Street, one of the tallest office towers in Vancouver. Designed by James K.M. Cheng Architects and developed by Oxford Properties and CPP Investments, the 37-storey tower opened in 2023 as the first high-rise office tower in North America built to a zero-carbon standard, which made it a fitting home for a capital markets and tech event.
We set the AI photo booth up outside on the building’s rooftop terrace, with panoramic views of Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains behind the guests lining up for their portraits. A rooftop setup like this is one of our favourite ways to run an activation: guests come out for the view and stay for the photos.
Designing the AI themes
We created a set of custom AI prompts built around the world of tech and capital markets, including a sleek boardroom scene and a futuristic “AI analytics” look with holographic stock charts and robotic details. Guests stay completely recognizable, and the AI changes the setting, styling and mood around them.
We shared samples early so the CSE team could react to real results, then refined the set together, keeping the favourites and removing one option that didn’t suit a professional audience.

Getting the branding exactly right
For a stock exchange like the CSE, brand details matter. Working with the CSE’s events and content team and Davidson’s marketing team, we:
- set the event title, “CSE Capital Tech Connect 2026”, in the CSE’s approved typeface with a navy and white treatment
- switched both the CSE and Davidson logos to reversed white versions so they stood out on the dark frame
- built a clean print layout with the sponsor and host logos across the top and the event name along the bottom
Every template went through quick approval rounds by email, so the final design was signed off by both organizations before event day.
A branded takeaway for the sponsor
Davidson’s marketing team asked a smart question early on: what is the takeaway? The answer was the printed AI portrait itself. Every guest left with a physical keepsake carrying Davidson’s logo, and a digital copy sent instantly by text or email that was easy to share. Davidson’s reaction to the final print: “exactly what we had envisioned.”
Event day
Our team arrived early to set up and our attendant, Monet, ran the booth for the full three hours, coaching poses, managing the line and keeping prints flowing. Guests received unlimited prints, and the CSE received an online gallery of every photo after the event.
The result
The day after the event, the CSE team shared their feedback:
“Monet was absolutely amazing. The photo booth was the best one we’ve ever had, you’re getting endless praise!”
— Olivia Stout, Canadian Securities Exchange
Why an AI photo booth works for corporate and tech events
- It matches the room. For tech, finance and innovation audiences, AI portraits feel on-theme in a way a standard booth doesn’t.
- It gives sponsors real visibility. Every print and digital photo carries the sponsor’s logo, long after the event ends.
- It’s a conversation starter. Guests compare their transformations, which keeps networking energy high.
- It’s fully on-brand. Fonts, logo versions, colours and themes are all approved before the event.
Frequently asked questions
Can an AI photo booth include sponsor branding?
Yes. We add host and sponsor logos, the event name and approved brand colours and fonts to every photo template, and send designs for approval before the event.
Do guests still look like themselves in AI photos?
Yes. We tune every AI theme so guests stay recognizable, and only the setting, styling and mood change.
Can guests get prints from an AI photo booth?
Yes. At CSE Capital Tech Connect every guest received unlimited branded prints plus an instant digital copy by text or email.
Can you set up a photo booth on a rooftop or outdoor terrace?
Yes. At CSE Capital Tech Connect we ran our AI photo booth on the rooftop terrace of The Stack in downtown Vancouver. We just need a flat surface and access to power, and we coordinate the setup with your venue.
How far ahead should we plan an AI photo booth for a corporate event?
There’s no minimum. We start design as soon as you book and work through approvals with your team, even on tight timelines.
